This is the well-known list compiled from a narration in Sunan al-Tirmidhi. The Qur’an and Sunnah name more than ninety-nine attributes of God, and scholars have never fully agreed on which ninety-nine the hadith intends, so treat the numbering as a convention rather than as scripture.
